Copy Trading

Copy Trading is a page of the ScreenerBot desktop dashboard, right after Auto Trader in the top navigation. It follows the public Solana wallets you choose and turns their trades into your own, sized by your caps and closed by the exit rules you pick. Every task proves itself on a simulated Paper book first; Live is armed per wallet.

Copy processing starts paused

On a new install the page reads Paused globally · nothing is copied. Add a wallet, then choose Resume processingin the page header; the button stays disabled until a task exists. While processing is off no task acts on its wallet's trades, Paper included. Pause all turns it off again at any time.

Choose wallets for repeatable trades, not fast flips

A copy decision normally happens after the wallet has traded. That delay matters most on thin pools, bonding curves, and wallets that enter and exit within seconds. Copy Trading suits liquid markets and wallets that hold for minutes or hours. There is no same-block or same-price guarantee, and it is not a managed account or a promise that another wallet's results can be reproduced.

The page at a glance

  • Header: the status line, Pause all or Resume processing, Settings, and Add wallet.
  • Totals:realized and unrealized P&L, win rate, open holdings, budget in use by enabled tasks, and median arrival delay with its p95.
  • Wallets: every copied wallet with its mode and state, and Compare at the top.
  • Workspace:the selected task's actions and its five tabs.
  • Elsewhere: Copy trade on a row in Wallets → Watched opens the editor for that address, and while tasks exist the COPY card in the app header shows how many are active and opens the page.

Paper and Live

Both modes run the same rules. What changes is where the money comes from.

How a copy decision works

  1. 1Observe

The shared wallet watch decodes supported swaps on the selected public address and measures how late each one arrived.

  2. 2Guard

Tasks whose wallet is no longer watched pause, slow tasks can pause automatically, and caught-up trades older than the arrival limit are skipped.

  3. 3Decide

The task checks its switch, self-copy, the wallet’s trade size, buy-once, the blacklist, the Filtering pass, and slippage.

  4. 4Size

The wallet’s trade becomes your fixed amount or share of it, then the smallest remaining cap wins.

  5. 5Book or execute

Paper books the fill on the task’s simulated book. Live sends the buy through ScreenerBot’s guarded entry, swap, and verification pipeline.

Wallet observation is shared with the Wallets area, so you can watch an address for history or alerts without copying it. Every decision the task does not act on is recorded with its reason, so silence is never presented as success.
