What the RugCheck tab is for
Use RugCheck as an external security-report layer alongside ScreenerBot’s local On-Chain checks. Every category can be enabled independently. The goal is not to produce a promise of safety, but to reject tokens that violate explicit security and distribution limits before they become trading candidates.
Reading the interface
Each area answers a different operational question. Use the descriptions below before changing a filter.
Risk and authorities
The primary report-level controls for dangerous token state.
Max Risk Score
Sets the highest acceptable RugCheck score; lower thresholds are more selective.
Block High Risk and Rugged Tokens
Rejects Danger-level reports and tokens explicitly flagged as rugged.
Authority policy
Require safe authorities and separately decide whether mint or freeze authority may remain active.
Holder and insider distribution
Limits concentration and connected-wallet exposure.
Top holder and top-three limits
Caps the share controlled by the largest holder and the combined top three.
Minimum unique holders
Requires a minimum breadth of ownership.
Graph and top-ten insiders
Limits connected insider wallets and their combined ownership percentage.
Liquidity structure
Checks whether liquidity is locked and whether provision is too concentrated.
PumpFun and regular LP lock
Uses separate minimum lock percentages for PumpFun tokens and other tokens.
Minimum LP providers
Requires a minimum number of liquidity providers.
Creator and transfer behavior
Controls creator ownership and Token-2022 transfer-fee exposure.
Max Creator Balance
Caps the percentage of supply still held by the creator.
Max Transfer Fee
Allows transfer fees only up to a configured percentage.
Block Any Transfer Fee
Rejects every token with a transfer fee regardless of its size.
Recommended workflow
- 1
Keep report-level rugged, danger, and authority rules aligned with your non-negotiable safety policy.
- 2
Set holder, insider, and creator limits based on the distribution profile your strategy can tolerate.
- 3
Configure LP lock and provider requirements without assuming one model fits every launch venue.
- 4
Inspect the most frequent RugCheck reasons and representative tokens before relaxing a category.
Practical guidance
- Holder concentration and insider relationships are related but separate signals.
- Transfer fees affect execution economics even when every other market metric looks healthy.
- A missing RugCheck report is different from a report that passes all enabled rules.
RugCheck is one security layer, not a guarantee. Keep local on-chain checks, execution limits, position sizing, and exit protections in place.
