Token Details Dialog
Access comprehensive token information in a full-screen dialog with real-time data, security analysis, price charts, and quick trading actions.
Overview
The Token Details Dialog provides a comprehensive view of any token with all the information you need to make informed trading decisions. Click on any token symbol in the dashboard to open this dialog.
Data is loaded from multiple sources in parallel and displayed as it becomes available. The dialog shows cached data immediately for instant access, then refreshes with the latest information.
How to Open
Opening the Dialog
Data Source Status
At the top of the dialog, you'll see status indicators showing the loading state of each data source. This helps you understand when data is still being fetched.
Data Sources
- Token Info: Basic token metadata
- Market Data: From DexScreener
- Security: From Rugcheck
- Chart Data: OHLCV candles
Status Colors
- Gray: Pending (not started)
- Amber: Loading (in progress)
- Green: Success (fresh data)
- Red: Error (fetch failed)
- Blue: Cached (from memory)
💡 Tip: The status bar automatically hides when all data sources have successfully loaded, giving you more screen space for the content.
Dialog Tabs
The dialog organizes information into five tabs for easy navigation:
Overview
Main tab with price chart, market data, and key metrics
Security
Safety score, authorities, risks, and holder distribution
Positions
Your open and closed positions for this token
Pools
Liquidity pools and DEX information
Links
External links to explorers and social media
Overview Tab
The Overview tab provides a comprehensive snapshot of the token's current state:
Price Chart
Interactive candlestick chart with multiple timeframes:
Token Info Card
- Mint Address: Full token address with copy button
- Decimals: Token decimal places
- Token Age: Time since creation
- DEX: Primary trading venue
- Holders: Number of token holders
Liquidity & Market
- FDV: Fully Diluted Valuation
- Liquidity: Total pool liquidity in USD
- Pool Reserves: SOL and token amounts
- Market Cap: Current market capitalization
Price Changes
Track price movement across timeframes:
Trading Volume
- 24h Volume: Total trading volume
- Buy Volume: Total buy side
- Sell Volume: Total sell side
Transaction Activity
- 24h Transactions: Total trade count
- Buys vs Sells: Transaction ratio
- Buy/Sell Bar: Visual ratio indicator
Security Tab
The Security tab helps you assess token safety before trading:
Security Analysis
Risk Score
RugCheck analyzes token contracts and returns a risk score where lower is safer. A score of 0 means no risks detected.
Token Authorities
- Mint Authority: Can create new tokens.✓ Renounced = Safer
- Freeze Authority: Can freeze token accounts.✓ Renounced = Safer
Holder Distribution
Shows how tokens are distributed among holders. High concentration in few wallets may indicate risk.
Transfer Fee (Token-2022)
For Token-2022 tokens, displays any transfer fee that applies to transactions.
Risk Warnings
Lists specific risks identified by security analysis, such as:
- • Mutable metadata
- • High holder concentration
- • Recent creation date
- • Low liquidity
- • Copycat token indicators
Top Holders
Breakdown of the largest token holders with their percentage ownership.
Quick Actions
The dialog header provides quick actions for common operations:
Buy Button
Quick buy with your default settings
Sell Button
Quick sell if you hold a position
Copy Mint Address
One-click copy to clipboard
View on Solscan
Open token on blockchain explorer
Performance Features
Smart Data Loading
Shows cached data immediately for instant access, then refreshes with latest data in the background.
All data sources are fetched simultaneously to minimize total loading time.
When you view a token, it gets priority for updates while background refreshes are paused.
Failed requests are automatically retried with exponential backoff.
Tips
- 💡Press ESC to quickly close the dialog
- 💡Check the Security tab before making any trades on unfamiliar tokens
- 💡Use different chart timeframes to understand price trends at various scales
- 💡The buy/sell transaction ratio can indicate current market sentiment
- 💡Blue status indicators mean you're seeing cached data - fresh data is loading
