What the Strategy Control tab is for
Strategy Control is the fast operations view for existing strategies. Entry and exit strategies are separated into clear lanes with active counts and per-strategy switches, so you can change participation without opening the full editor.
Reading the interface
Use each control with the rest of the automated trading pipeline in mind.
Entry strategies
Entry strategies are evaluated only after the entry safety pipeline allows a token.
Enabled count
The lane reports how many saved entry strategies are currently active.
Per-strategy switches
A switch updates only the enabled state, preserving the strategy name, timeframe, priority, and rule tree.
No automatic bypass
An enabled entry strategy still cannot bypass connectivity, position limits, cooldown, blacklist, or other safety checks.
Exit strategies
Exit strategies participate after higher-priority emergency and protective checks.
Independent participation
Exit strategies can remain enabled even when entry strategies are paused.
Priority pipeline
Blacklist, emergency risk, stop loss, trailing stop, take profit, and time rules may produce an earlier exit decision.
Full editor hand-off
Use the Strategies tab when you need to create, validate, test, or change conditions.
Recommended workflow
- 1
Review the active count in both entry and exit lanes.
- 2
Disable strategies whose market assumptions are no longer valid.
- 3
Open the Strategies tab to inspect the full rule tree before enabling an unfamiliar strategy.
- 4
Return to Stats and verify the entry and exit monitors are in the intended state.
Practical guidance
- Strategy Control is for activation; the Strategies tab is the source for rule design.
- Keep at least one valid entry strategy enabled if you expect Auto Trader to open positions.
- An exit strategy should complement—not replace—fixed safety exits such as stop loss.
