Understanding Filter Logic
How Filters Work Together
Filters operate with AND logic - a token must pass ALL enabled filters to appear in your Passed Tokens list.
- ✓ Passes DexScreener filters
- ✓ AND passes GeckoTerminal filters
- ✓ AND passes RugCheck filters
- ✗ Fails even ONE filter criterion
- ✗ Missing required data
- ✗ Outside allowed ranges
DexScreener Filters
DexScreener provides real-time market data. These filters evaluate trading activity, liquidity depth, and price behavior.
Liquidity Settings
Minimum Liquidity (USD)
Reject tokens with total liquidity below this value in USD.
$1,000Recommended: $10,000+Higher values = safer trades but fewer opportunities. Low liquidity tokens have high slippage and can trap your funds.
Maximum Liquidity (USD)
Reject tokens with liquidity above this value. Useful for targeting early-stage tokens.
DisabledOnly use if you specifically want to trade small-cap tokens before they gain traction.
Minimum Liquidity (SOL)
Alternative: Set liquidity requirement in SOL instead of USD.
DisabledMarket Cap Settings
Minimum Market Cap (USD)
Reject tokens with market cap below this value.
$5,000Range: $0 - unlimitedVery low market cap tokens are often pump-and-dump schemes. Higher minimums provide safety.
Maximum Market Cap (USD)
Reject tokens with market cap above this value. For targeting early opportunities.
DisabledVolume Settings
Minimum 24h Volume (USD)
Reject tokens with 24-hour trading volume below this value.
$1,000Recommended: $5,000+Low volume = low interest and difficulty exiting. Ensure enough activity exists.
Minimum 6h Volume (USD)
Shorter-term volume check for more recent activity.
DisabledMinimum 1h Volume (USD)
Ensure very recent trading activity.
DisabledToken Age Settings
Minimum Age (Hours)
Reject tokens younger than this age (time since pool creation).
1 hourRange: 0 - 8760 hours (1 year)Brand new tokens are risky. Waiting allows market to establish true price.
Maximum Age (Hours)
Reject tokens older than this age. For targeting fresh opportunities.
DisabledTransaction Count Settings
Minimum Buy Transactions (5m/1h/6h/24h)
Require minimum number of buy transactions in each time period.
Ensures real trading activity, not just wash trading or single large trades.
Minimum Sell Transactions (5m/1h/6h/24h)
Require minimum number of sell transactions. Healthy tokens have both buys and sells.
Price Change Limits
Maximum Price Change (5m/1h/6h/24h)
Reject tokens with price change exceeding these percentages (positive or negative).
500% max = reject if price moved ±500%Extreme price movements indicate manipulation or unstable trading.
Minimum Price Change (5m/1h/6h/24h)
Require minimum price movement to ensure token is actively trading.
Other DexScreener Settings
Require Logo
Reject tokens that don't have a logo image set.
falseLegitimate projects usually have branding. Missing logos may indicate hastily created scam tokens.
Require Header Image
Require a header/banner image for the token.
Require Socials
Require Twitter/Telegram/Website links to be set.
Community presence indicates a real project with ongoing development.
Allow Only SOL Pairs
Only allow trading on SOL-paired pools.
trueSOL pairs have deepest liquidity and best price execution on Solana.
GeckoTerminal Filters
GeckoTerminal provides additional market data for cross-verification. These filters add another layer of validation.
GeckoTerminal Settings
Enable GeckoTerminal Filtering
Master toggle for GeckoTerminal filters.
trueMinimum Pool Age (Hours)
Minimum age of the trading pool since creation.
1 hourMinimum FDV (USD)
Minimum Fully Diluted Valuation required.
FDV = Price × Total Supply. Shows what market cap would be if all tokens were in circulation.
Minimum 24h Volume (USD)
Cross-verification of volume from GeckoTerminal.
Minimum Reserve (USD)
Minimum reserve value in the trading pool.
Maximum Price Change Percentages
Limit price changes over 5m/1h/6h/24h periods.
Transaction Count Requirements
Minimum buy/sell transactions across time periods.
RugCheck Security Filters
RugCheck analyzes on-chain token properties for security risks. These are critical filters to protect against scams.
Critical Security Settings
These settings protect you from the most common scam patterns. Disabling them significantly increases your risk.
Authority Settings
Reject Mint Authority
Reject tokens where the mint authority is not renounced (can create new tokens).
true⚠️ KEEP ENABLEDIf mint authority exists, the creator can mint unlimited tokens and crash the price instantly.
Reject Freeze Authority
Reject tokens where freeze authority is not renounced (can freeze your tokens).
true⚠️ KEEP ENABLEDIf freeze authority exists, the creator can freeze your tokens making them untransferable.
Risk Score Settings
Maximum Risk Score
Maximum allowed RugCheck risk score. Higher = riskier.
5000Range: 0 - 10000Low Risk
Medium Risk
High Risk
Rejected Risk Types
Specific risk patterns to always reject. Can include custom patterns.
Examples: "Copycat token", "High concentration", "LP not locked"
Holder Distribution Settings
Maximum Top 10 Holder Percentage
Reject if top 10 holders own more than this percentage of supply.
80%Recommended: 50-70%High concentration means few wallets control the price. Can dump at any time.
Maximum Single Holder Percentage
Maximum percentage any single wallet can hold.
50%LP (Liquidity Provider) Settings
Require LP Burned
Require that liquidity provider tokens are burned (permanent liquidity).
falseBurned LP means liquidity cannot be removed. Very safe but rare.
Minimum LP Lock Duration (Hours)
Minimum time LP tokens must be locked.
DisabledViewing Rejection Statistics
The dashboard shows detailed statistics about why tokens are being rejected, helping you fine-tune your filters.
Filtering → Status Tab
Shows breakdown of rejection reasons with counts. See which filters are rejecting the most tokens.
Tokens → Rejected Tab
Shows each rejected token with its specific rejection reason and source (DexScreener/RugCheck/GeckoTerminal).
Token Details Dialog
Click any token to see why it was rejected with human-readable explanations.
Filter by Reason
Use the dropdown to filter rejected tokens by specific rejection reason.
Best Practices
✓ Do This
- • Start with strict settings and loosen gradually
- • Always keep security filters (mint/freeze authority) enabled
- • Check rejection statistics to understand filter impact
- • Use both DexScreener AND RugCheck filters together
- • Set reasonable minimums for liquidity and volume
- • Review rejected tokens occasionally for missed opportunities
✗ Avoid This
- • Disabling mint/freeze authority checks
- • Setting liquidity minimum to $0
- • Setting risk score maximum to 10000 (allows everything)
- • Disabling all filters to "find more tokens"
- • Changing multiple filters at once (hard to debug)
- • Ignoring security warnings in token details
