Fin Costello Bootsy Collins 3
Bootsy Collins' performance at the Hammersmith Odeon in June 1978 was a significant moment in the history of funk music. Collins was a key member of the legendary funk band Parliament-Funkadelic and had recently released his debut solo album, "Stretchin' Out in Bootsy's Rubber Band," which was a critical and commercial success. The Hammersmith Odeon performance showcased Collins' incredible talent as a bassist and performer, and featured an all-star lineup of musicians, including George Clinton, Fred Wesley, and Maceo Parker. The show was known for its energetic performances, outrageous costumes, and mind-bending stage theatrics, and helped to cement Collins' reputation as one of the greatest funk musicians of all time.
