The Big Red Machine's Tony Pérez launched a 15th-inning homer off fellow Hall of Famer Catfish Hunter. The solo shot lifted the National League to a 2-1 win in the 1967 All-Star Game at Anaheim Stadium. Pérez was named the Midsummer Classic's Most Valuable Player. The 1967 All-Star Game was also the longest game (by innings) in history; it would later be matched in 2008.
