Using glitches and dithered indexed gif art, these pieces explore how digital spaces mirror and transform the gallery system Duchamp originally critiqued. The removal of the famous signature ('R. Mutt') reflects contemporary questions of anonymity and identity in online spaces, while deliberate digital artifacts root these works firmly in the crypto art realm—just as the industrial origins of the original Fountain were key to its meaning. This collection asks: What does it mean to 'place' something in a digital gallery? How do NFTs create value and authenticity in ways that both parallel and diverge from traditional art spaces?
